The best practices that I have noticed within the last few years in math, is the kind of practices that occurs at home. The feedback that our students need has to be immediate and customized to their level of learning. I have used various math programs for students, and not one program is the answer for all students, rather finding the program that will cater to the needs of the students. With this being established, I’ve rolled out the program of Khan Academy to support our students in their math practices. They need to be working on this every night for 45 minutes to practice the skills they’ve already learned and reinforce what we are learning in class.
